White Rock Pier Engagement Photos: Karine and Garth

White Rock Pier Engagement Photos: Karine and Garth

Our original plan was supposed to be a helicopter proposal. However, due to logistics, we ended up coming back to White Rock for Karine and Garth’s engagement photos. These two were visiting from Toronto, although Garth is originally from White Rock. After their proposal, I was able to capture their White Rock Pier engagement photos for them.

We started the morning at Redwoods Park in Surrey. These tall Redwood trees, and morning dew, gave it this location a romantic feel. Following a quick few photos, we headed over to the White Rock pier. I’ll be completely honest. White Rock isn’t somewhere I frequent often. Coming to the pier ( fun fact, it’s Canada’s longest pier), it was completely full. However, we did our best to avoid the crowd. Funny enough the day before I read this article on DailyHive about seagulls flocking to the pier due to fish washing up on the beach. I didn’t think I would be coming here the day after I read this article!

These two were so in love from the start of their session! You could probably also tell from their photos. Best of luck to Karine and Garth! I’m so glad everything turned out for your proposal and the weather held up.

If you’re looking for a Vancouver engagement photographer, I would love to be considered to capture this special time in your life.
