Although we didn’t get a chance to meet in person, our brief conversation over the phone with N+T was something special. The excitement these two shared, despite COVID reminds me how lucky I am to document weddings during this time. The photos taken in 2020 are that more special with limited friends and family in attendance. In particular, it’s a reminder of WHY I do what I do and that is to document the relationships. No plans, no setup, just the two of them celebrating their love in a perfect Pacific Northwest setting, for their Stanley Park elopement. We found a gorgeous spot a short walk from the Stanley Park Pavilion. With the golden sunlight trickling into the forest, there wasn’t much more you could ask for. The vows simple heartwarming. Although the parents wouldn’t be in attendance, family members joined in through Zoom with three witnesses in attendance.
Following the ceremony, we took to the streets of Gastown and one of my personal favourites by the waterfront area by the Vancouver Convention Centre. These two were absolutely a pleasure to work with. Here are my favourites below:
” From initial consultation call to the day of the wedding and the final gallery of photos, Justin was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Professional, talented, and excellent at providing direction for people like myself with limited photography experience. I would categorically recommend Justin to anyone for their special day!”
