It’s been a long time coming for these two who finally got married after a slight delay. Originally planned for March, their wedding got postponed due to COVID. However, after 5 months of waiting, they finally had their Hawksworth restaurant wedding in Bel Cafe, a beautiful spot for an intimate Vancouver micro wedding, what will be the new norm moving forward. These two originally met at a mutual friend’s wedding. After the reception, these two recalled sitting at the lobby talking for hours. From there, their relationship continued to blossom. A majority of their relationship has been long-distance making it more special that they can celebrate in Vancouver.
Just before the ceremony, we got some photos at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Both Christine and Jon brought their energetic personalities to the shoot! Making our way to the Vancouver Convention Centre and the Marine Building, we finally headed to Bel Cafe where their intimate ceremony was held by a Vancouver officiant, Verna, who always personalizes everything so well. Congrats to Christine and Jon!! Crossing fingers that the celebration continues with friends and family next year!
“My husband and I had a civil ceremony with our family in Vancouver, and we worked with Justin to capture moments from our special day.
Justin was such a pleasure to work with. He is very responsive, professional and even offered to meet us earlier than our arranged time (without additional charges.) During our photo shoot, he made us feel at ease and gave us a lot of helpful guidance to capture the best shots.
During the ceremony, as we only had our family members in the room, Justin went above and beyond his role as our photographer and helped manage some parts of the evening which we are grateful for.
Thank you, Justin!!”- Christine and Jon
