Hycroft Manor Vancouver COVID 19 Wedding: Cindy and Les
It’s hard to take about weddings in 2020 without talking about COVID. It’s been a year of adapting, and changing things on the fly. Cindy and Les are one of those couples who have endured everything that 2020 has thrown at them and have pushed through. #loveisnotcancelled. So after switching dates and a few venues, I’m so glad to have captured their Hycroft Manor wedding in the heart of Vancouver, one of my top wedding venues in Vancouver. Meeting at their former workplace it was Les who made the first move. After knowing each other for almost 6 years it’s only been 3 years of dating!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a 2020 wedding without any hiccups throughout the day. Forecasting for thundershowers, and heavy showers all day, it was exactly that heading to Hyatt Hotel during their getting ready session where Cindy and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Shoutout to The Love Team for getting these girls looking fabulous for the day!
Heritage Mansion Vancouver Wedding Ceremony
Hycroft is simple and elegant, and a perfect setting for those looking for some vibrant photos and a few moody images. Upon arrival, the team at Hycroft was sweeping away the water on the floors where the ceremony was going to be held. Luckily for us, the weather had settled just before the first look. Before that, each got ready with their respective parties. Each room at Hycroft has so much character. It’s truly a photographer’s dream. The perks of smaller weddings right now are that timelines are so flexible giving so much time for portraits around the venue! Following the ceremony, we used the Drawing Room, for the tea ceremony, and the terrace for an intimate dinner! Congrats to these Les and Cindy, two people so full of life!
