With the season winding down, Anna and Abe were one of my last weddings of the season. With the colours of the leaves slowly turning it signalled the start of Fall. It made for beautiful Pitt Lake wedding photos. Working with these two prior to the big day for their Jericho engagement photos, I knew these two were a keeper. They’re small interactions, between these two showcased their love for each other.
Before the ceremony, these two opted for a first look at Pitt Meadows Spirit Park. The garden with a covered area would be where Abe saw Anna for the first time. The excitement in Abe’s eyes said it all. Simply a perfect moment. Following a few photos in this beautiful park, we made our way over to the ceremony.
Out by Maple Ridge, a small venue at Open Door Church provided its guests with an intimate setting for friends and family. Finishing the ceremony, we made our way over to Pitt Lake. A few weeks before this Abe and Anna, went location scouting ( which I love when couples do this). After they sent me the list there was no doubt Pitt Lake was a winner. Completely breathtaking, these wedding portraits were some of my favourites. Blue skies, mountainous backdrop, contrasted the pink dresses the bridesmaids wore. The bridesmaids and groomsmen’s personalities made everything so smooth. The timing couldn’t have been better.
As the rain started to drizzle, it signalled the end of the day. The change in weather signalled another season-ending, until next year. HUGE congrats to these two and can’t wait to see what the future holds in store! Looking forward to 2020! For those looking for Vancouver Wedding Photography, please check my work out!
