Pacific Spirit Park Wedding

The second wedding of the long August weekend, was here. When I first met Jen and Simon, they were people I wanted to work with. Their ideas, creativity, choices of venues and locations were places I wanted to be a part of. Before their wedding day, they asked their friends to submit videos for me to compile for the reception dinner asking their friends for marital advice. As I was compiling the video of all their friends giving marital advice, you knew from the answers they gave it was going to be a fun wedding!

Pacific Spirit Park Wedding Ceremony

The early morning brought me to the groomsmen getting ready spot at an airbnb spot in Vancouver. With breakfast delivered and full stomachs, they headed to Mahoney and Son’s at UBC before the first look. The suits and bow tie selections were great choices, especially Simon’s wooden textured bow tie. After our quick hour with the guys, we headed to ” The Rise” where the bridesmaids and Jen were getting ready. With beautifully designed matching robes for everyone, the bridesmaid along with mothers got ready with the help of RebelLuxe Hair.  After a few photos, in their yard, myself and Nirvana, met up with the boys at Mahoney and Son’s before jetting off to Wreck Beach where we had the first look. This spot along with Pacific Spirit Park were stunning locations for videos and photography!

This day was filled with so many highlights, it’ll be a wedding I won’t forget soon. From all the crazy games, Jen going for a swim in the ocean after the first look, to the detailed earthy decor at the ceremony, and the beautifully written vows and speeches, I’m so glad to have been a part of this day video graphing all the moments.
