Jacqueline and Stan are getting married next year, at Westwood Plateau and I couldn’t be more happy to be a part of their August wedding. Playing ultimate frisbee over the last couple of years with these two has given me the chance to really know these two amazing people. Stan is a talented designer with a creative eye, as you can tell from my latest logo on my website. These two opted for a Lighthouse Park engagement, which is one of my favourite spots in Vancouver for engagement sessions. It was a perfect shoot to conclude my last engagement session of the season!
Living in Vancouver, most know in the October months, our weather is never the greatest. However, on this particular Saturday afternoon, the 18-degree sun kept us in good spirits. The vibrant orange and yellow fall colours, accompanied by the scenic view of Lighthouse park, overlooking the skyline was nothing short of perfect for Jacqueline and Stan, as they were going for the fall and rustic look.
Once these two started having some fun, it didn’t take them long to rock out some highlight photos! Jacqueline’s contagious smile and laughter, with the help of Stan doing a great job of making her laugh, makes my job as a photographer super easy. These two are always the life of the party, with their outgoing personalities. As you can tell from below, once you have fun, there’s really no such thing as a bad photo. Lighthouse Park continues to be one of my favourite spots in Vancouver for engagement sessions, as the backdrop is incredible, especially during the sunset.
Their upcoming wedding in 2018, is gonna be incredible, and I can’t wait for these two to tie the knot. They’ll be the first in our group of friends to lead the way! No bias, but some of my favourite engagement photos, to date!
