On Wednesday afternoon, Camila and Maxime prepared for their intimate wedding, along the waters of Kitsilano Beach. These two originally met in Montreal, while attending school. During the early stages of their semester, these two first met at a party, where Camila introduced herself to Maxime. Following the party, it took some convincing, from Maxime before Camila finally budged to go on a first date.
Maxime moved over to Vancouver, just over a year ago while Camila remained on the east coast for work. These two are finally reunited in Vancouver after three years of dating and exchanged their vows. It was a sunny day, which made for a perfect Vancouver beach wedding. Camila is from Brazil, while Maxime is from France. Although both sides of the families could not make it to Vancouver, their respective families were on Skype sharing the moment with these two. It was definitely a sight to see, as both families were hosting parties back in their home countries as they watched the ceremony live. As they tied the knot, you could hear the cheers and champagne glasses clinking!
To top off the day, CTV decided to crash the wedding as well! Following the ceremony, we headed over to Homer Street Cafe, where we shared an assortment of delicious food. It was during lunch where I noticed how in love these two were. Every so often, Maxime would sneak in a kiss or two. Over lunch, I had chance to learn more about these two, and their backgrounds. Over the last few years, these two have traveled to multiple cities, and as they begin their new adventure, a new city possibly awaits, as these two continue down their hospitality careers. Best of luck to you two, and thanks for having me at your wedding.
