Whytecliff Park Engagement Photos

September 2nd was a date I had circled in my calendar for 3 months. When Queenie and Eric first contacted me about an engagement shoot with their locations of choice, I couldn’t help but be excited. Having always wanted to shoot at Sea to Sky, and hearing about their UP theme, was something that was exciting. The only thing that was going to stop us that day was the weather. These Sea to Sky and Whytecliff Park engagement photos are gonna blow you away!

It was full weather watch the evening before, as the rain was non-stop all day on Thursday, before the shoot. Having come all the way from Toronto, Queenie and Eric wanted the scenic views that Vancouver is best known for. With cloudy and periods of rain forecasted for Friday, we decided to go ahead with the shoot, and I couldn’t be any happier with the decision. As we headed up to our first location, Whytecliff park, the sun had come out and the pictures were perfect! We brought out the red balloon for here ( before it’s unfortunate fate), accompanied by their great outfits. Eric was great constantly helping Queenie through the rocky terrain at Whytecliff park, while Queenie was a trooper walking in heels on the beach and rocks!

Engagement in Squamish

Our next location was Sea to Sky, a location I’ve dreamed about shooting! It was forecasted for thundershowers here, which may have scared the tourist off, because when we arrived the location was nearly empty! The skies were changing so dramatically by the minute, it made for some great photos! This location might be one of all time favourites.

Thank so much to Queenie and Eric! Perhaps the best part of the shoot was these two telling me how they setup a tripod and camera when they were in San Francisco practicing their poses before the shoot.
