Squamish Wedding Proposal at Sea to Sky: Sapan and Dipa
Another Squamish wedding proposal at Sea to Sky Gondola is in the books! Being in contact with Sapan over a month, our original plan included hiking, and overlooking the Howe Sound Inlet. However, after some discussion, and countless emails the decision for the Sea to Sky Gondola proposal was made. Dating for just over three years, Sapan and Dipa we’re celebrating their anniversary in Vancouver while visiting from Michigan. On top of the anniversary, Dipa was also celebrating her 30th birthday. Little did she know this day was more than just celebrating her 30th birthday. Her biggest present was about to come!
Starting at 10 am, I found the location myself and Sapan discussed. Unfortunately, on that specific day, a movie set was on location. Just our luck. After exchanging a few text messages, we found another great alternative location. The platform is by far the most popular spot. However, on most days tourists fill this spot up as it’s so picturesque. After heading to the new location, our luck changed! There was no one around. Arriving at the lookout point, the thick fog covering the beautiful scenery started to dissipate. Talk about perfect timing! Sapan with some thoughtful words got Dipa to say YES! Woohoo!!
