Redwood Nestldown Wedding: Nicole and Ryan

Nicole and Ryan’s definition can be summed up in one word, perseverance. Their Redwood Nestldown wedding finally happened after almost waiting two years! Before even the pandemic their story of perseverance begins when Ryan and Nicole first met in high school in ceramics class. They didn’t reconnect until years later, after college when their paths realigned. After dating for almost 10 years Ryan proposed to Nicole in Oahu on their 10-year anniversary.

On this beautiful spring day, you thought the hardest part was out waiting COVID, but there were definitely some things that didn’t go as planned. Let’s begin with the broken-down Uber that the groomsmen took to the venue and got stuck on the highway, the wedding cake that needed to be fixed one hour before the ceremony, missing jewelry, and a forgotten wedding dress. But hey, these moments all make up for good stories. So despite all of those little things, this wedding was a dream wedding! Ryan got ready with his groomsmen and of course, their furbaby Mochi who is absolutely adorable and the star of the show! Meanwhile, Nicole was getting ready at the guest house in Nestldown, in a rustic setting with her bridesmaids. One thing I love is the numerous different settings that Nestldown has to offer, one of them being their guest house.

From the ceremony officiated by their brother, to the first dances with their respective parents in the Apple Knoll, and of course the dancing in general, the wedding day was a perfect representation of Nicole and Ryan.
