A few weeks before Chris and Jasmine’s Capilano Suspension Bridge proposal Chris had contacted me. With these two visiting from LA, the timing couldn’t have been any more perfect, with Capilano hosting their annual Canyon Lights. Having Canyon Lights, meaning the surrounding area we’re covered in festive decor. Covering the 110ft fir trees were Christmas lights, along with lights on the bridges.
Finding the right location, at Capilano isn’t the hardest thing as the whole area is scenic. Finding the right moment is. Fortunately for us, the weather was fantastic for December, meaning a lot of tourists were also out on the bridges and surrounding areas. Meeting in the bathroom, for the first time in person, Chris and I selected a spot by the lake after crossing the suspension bridge. Stalling long enough for the tourist to pass by, the moment was right. Chris said a few words before going on his knees. Jasmine’s reaction, completely priceless.
The best moments are right after the proposal! All the information the guys have been keeping a secret for the longest time comes out. With numerous questions from Jasmine about who knew about the proposal, Chris spilled the beans! I hope these photos will be a fantastic souvenir for you both as you celebrate your marriage in LA!
