Spring is finally here! The cherry blossoms are in full bloom meaning engagement season has officially started. What better way to start the season with Elaine and Dave with their Deep Cove engagement photos, a place with a special meaning to these two. The Saturday afternoon rain started coming down. This did not not put a damper to our day. Elaine and Dave were all smiles and laughter throughout. In fact, the rain had scared off most people, meaning we had the area to ourselves. Joining us was Elaine’s adorable dog, Toby. I think Toby was a bit too excited in his new surroundings, but we managed to sneak a few photos in.
Elaine’s red dress was a perfect compliment to the vibrant cherry blossoms! It only took a short amount of time, before Dave was rocking the camera without much direction. In addition to Deep Cove, Elaine and Dave introduced me to a new location.
The mist and backdrop made Cates Park engagement photos a great place to finish our session! I’m so glad we didn’t up rescheduling. No matter the circumstance, I find the best results for photos are when my couples are enjoying the moment and the time with themselves. Almost a month until their wedding, and I can’t wait to celebrate with these two again!
