I love how these photos turned out for our Britannia Heritage Shipyard engagement photos. When Mimi and Jared mentioned that they choose the Britannia Heritage Shipyard as their location for their engagement shoot I couldn’t have been more excited. Although most of the area is available for public use, the main heritage building is only available for those who rent it out. I had the privilege, of shooting a wedding there last month, but not in the main building. With the available space all to ourselves, we took advantage to grab some amazing photos! The wooden and rustic interior, along with the heritage pieces gave the photos a unique feel.
Following up with the main heritage building, we moved on and used the public space of the shipyard for the rest of the engagement shoot for some natural light photos! Mimi and Jared were such naturals in front of the camera! Jared did a great job of making Mimi smile and laugh, which is really what the session is all about! The surrounding area itself has so much to offer, with the different views!. A great touch to the session was the small props that these two brought along. To conclude our shoot, Mimi and Jared brought out some Toronto Blue Jay hats and baseball for some fun photos! With their wedding almost a month away, I can’t wait to see these two again and capture their wedding!
