SUNSHINE?! After being back in Vancouver for a short week from vacation, it was finally nice to catch a break from the rainy weather. I’ve done many weddings, and engagement shoots now at Queen Elizabeth, but this was the first time shooting an engagement session at the Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park. Stacey and Max had chosen this location, for the tropical look. It was a great choice! Stacey and Max chose some great outfits to match the tropical look of the Bloedel Conservatory. Her yellow dress, matched the floral tropical look, while also complementing Max’s wardrobe.
Max mentioned he was pretty nervous for the photo shoot right off the bat. However it didn’t take long for their fun and spirited personalities to come out. From serious, to their best impression of thug looks , and elegant photos, their personalities really show through the photos. With their upcoming wedding in August, and hearing their ideas, I can’t wait for their wedding! Until then enjoy their engagement session!
Our first shot had my lens fog up! But what a happy accident, as the fog created this cool looking sun flare! If your going to shoot here, I’d recommend going about 15 minutes early, to make sure your lens gets use to the humid environment!
