Volunteer Park Engagement Photos

Just a little over two weeks till Shannon and Jakes’s wedding. A little throwback Thursday, for this post as this shoot took place last year.

For those reading this post, ultimate frisbee is something I started back in grade 12 and continues to be a growing sport ( believe it or not it is a sport) in the lower mainland and something that has played a part in my life the last 10 years. Back when I started in grade 12, our league team was looking for a mentor which is where I met Shannon who at the time was playing ultimate for UBC. The rest is kind of a blur, as our friendship kind of blossomed from there.

Just over four years ago, Shannon met Jake at volleyball. From there Shannon asked Jake to attend her birthday party which happen to be the Vancouver Ultimate League’s annual summer party.  With Shannon’s passion for France, and ultimate, and Jakes’s passion for martial arts and volleyball, they’ve fallen in love with each other’s interests, but more importantly, they’ve fallen in love with each other. Looking forward to your wedding on August 1st!
