Who would’ve guessed, that 10 years later on a gorgeous summer evening, that I would be here with Nancy and Karen capturing their love for each other, for their Steveston engagement photos? During our time at VCC hospitality management program, is where I first met Nancy. After graduation, we kept in touch through hospitality life. Shortly after their engagement, we caught up, and exciting times are ahead as I’ll be documenting their wedding this August in Kelowna!
Before we jump into our Steveston engagement photos, let’s talk about how Karen proposal, because it definitely took a lot of effort and coordination. Creating a scavenger hunt around the city, Karen got their friends to participate. Taking Nancy around the city and collecting puzzle pieces, with Karen waiting at the end of the hunt with the proposal.
If I were to be honest, Daisy and Patches definitely stole the show of the evening, with their cuteness. Not to outdone, Nancy and Karen’s silliness, and fun took over during these sunset Steveston engagement photos. With the last 3o minutes, we jumped over to Garry Point Park for a change in scenery finding a field of flowers for the last few shots. Definitely some of my favourites during this session! That’s a wrap for this session, but super excited for their August wedding! See you all then!
