Vancouver Outdoor Intimate Wedding

The May long weekend, was forecasted to rain, and much like the stereotypical Vancouver weather, the forecast was wrong. The sun peaked out just in time for their ceremony at George Wainborn Park, overlooking Granville Island. These two first met at Starbucks, when Alannah was interviewing Besim. Besim had just moved to Vancouver and after getting the job it was only a short period of time before a connection was formed.

Prior to the ceremony, Alannah got a new look from Opus Hair Salon to go along with her modern bridal suit from Nordstrom, with flowers and shoes that complimented Besim’s style from Topshop. Besim had always imagined Alannah’s hair to be short, and on their wedding day, Alannah surprised him with just that, as she walked down the aisle for the first time with her new look. Along with her fashionable wardrobe, Alannah’s wedding ring was also definitely picture worthy consisting of 3 separate tiers.

It was evident that these two were completely in love with each other during our portrait session. However, Alannah’s grandma was equally as loving passing down a ring to Alannah during the reception. I had such a great time with these two and their families,  I’d like to wish these two the very best in their new beginnings!  Have a great time celebrating your honeymoon in London!
