Cleveland Dam Engagement

Over the last few years, I’ve met a lot of great couples and have been blessed to work with them. On this summer day, Ashley and Nathan were no different. When Ashley first contacted me, it was a toss-up between Stanley Park and Cleveland Dam in North Vancouver. After some discussion, I’m so glad these two ended up choosing Cleveland Dam. The trails, scenery, and of course the actual dam, made for some stunning photos and perfectly represents the West Coast so beautifully.

Ashley and Nathan have been dating for 3 years when they first met at a Bible camp in Poland. As you’ll see from the photos below these two brought some awesome props to represent their long-distance relationship. Throughout the engagement shoot, we had a chance to laugh about pickled herring ( a Polish staple), and they managed to teach me how to say a Polish phrase ” give me a kiss”. With Helen ( my GF) being half Polish and having done a long-distance relationship, it was easy to relate to Ashley and Nathan’s background.

I’m so glad these two were able to win the draw at the Dare to Dream Bridal show, thanks to Weddingful, because I couldn’t have asked for a better couple. Their wardrobe, props, warm personalities, and genuine laughter made for some amazing Cleveland Dam engagement photos. Congrats to the two of you and I wish you the very best in the future!
