Hui and Mike’s Sunday Westwood Plateau wedding was the second of the weekend! Talk about a way to start the wedding season off with back to back weddings. Arriving early in the morning, I caught up with Mike and his groomsmen. My last face to face meeting with Hui and Mike was during our Olympic Village engagement shoot. Already to go, with his tea ceremony outfit on, Mike and his groomsmen, relaxed with nothing better than instant noodles and laughter. Before going down to see Hui, Mike and his groomsmen opened up some gifts from Mike, which I absolutely loved! Nintendo and boardgames!
Entering the clubhouse, Hui’s sisters, we’re finishing the last touches of the make up by Vivian who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Huge props to for having Hui right by the window for some great lighting. With Hui finishing up and looking absolutely stunning family had begun to trickle in for the tea ceremony. Spoiler alert…. Mike’s niece and nephew completely stole the show. They we’re all smiles and so photogenic! Following the tea ceremony, we headed over to Rocky Point Park for some wedding portraits, but not before Hui put her wedding dress on and did a first look. The smiles in the photos tells you the whole story.
It was extremely busy at Rocky Point Park, but thank you to everyone who were gracious enough to give us the pier! With a bit of sun coming through the clouds the spring weather added to perfection of the day. In addition to photos at Rocky Point Park, we used a bit of the extra time to take some more wedding portraits at Westwood Plateau. Thank you to Karen our Westwood Plateau day co-ordinator for chauffeuring us around the different areas of the golf course . The vibrant colours of the garden and greenery of the golf course we’re a great spot to end our portraits before the ceremony.
Following an emotional ceremony, the rest of the evening was led by MJ, from I-DJ services who was definitely one of the most memorable DJ’s I’ve worked with in a while. His enthusiasm, and the way he was able to get all the guests on the dance floor was a great way to finish the evening. Hui and Mike, thank you for allowing me to capture your Westwood Plateau wedding. The venue and the team of vendors you selected we’re all a dream to work with!

“When I first contacted Justin, he was quick to reply and answered my questions promptly. After contacting him through his website, he called a few hours later to set up a meeting. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed. He was super organized, detail orientated, and answered all our questions. He offered suggestions for engagement photos when we couldn’t decide. He guided our photoshoots for both our engagement and wedding photos. Justin was accommodating and open to suggestions with specific requests of type of photos or people we wanted to include in our photos. He captured so much emotion on our wedding day with vibrant colours.
My husband and I could not have been happier with our experience with Justin. He was super organized, easygoing, and really laid-back, which made him so easy to work with. Justin kept our planning stress free. Justin was also quick to have our wedding photos ready.
We definitely recommend Justin if you’re looking for a photographer who is very thorough in his work and very pleasant to work with! We would not hesitate to book him again for other events.”
