Kate and Brad, are my latest couple to do a Granville Island engagement session! Just like Olympic Village, Granville Island has so much to offer with it’s unique architecture, coloured murals and scenic Pacific Northwest backdrops. Alongside Kate and Brad, they brought their adorable shih tzu, Suki. Granville Island has a special meaning for Kate and Brad, as their first date was at Sandbar, just like myself and Helen! In addition Brad has a love for bridges which we managed to include in our shoot!
These two were ready, with balloons, fresh flowers, and love signs! There’s nothing that makes me happier, then to see my couples all prepared with props and smiles! In fact, Kate was so committed to the shoot she drove down all the way to Seattle on Friday evening, to get her make up done on Saturday morning! It was also extremely fun with Suki hanging out with us, although we did have to tempt her with snacks here and there. These photos are such a great representation of these two: fun, down to earth, and completely in love! I’m totally ready for their wedding for next summer and so glad how these photos turned out! I need more couples with dogs. Enjoy the photos and see you both in June!
