New Year! New Blog! New Resolutions!

Happy New Year!!!  With the start of New Year, I’ve decided to try blogging( again). I’ve tried them before but haven’t had much success. Well, as a new resolution, I have a few goals and hope to accomplish them at the end of the year. The goal of this blog is to inform readers of things I’m learning as student and photographer, share stories of my life ( mainly food cause I love food so much), photos and behind the scenes of each shoot, and travels. So without further ado, here are the goals of 2015:

1. Shoot more sessions! I’ve always been a firm believer in constantly learning. As much, as I would love to put my focus on wedding and engagement shoots, I’m hoping to shoot more sessions, from everyone to everything. Mastering the art of light, is so key in photography, by shooting more I’m hoping to learn from others and through each session.

2. Blog! My goal is to update this blog at least 2 times a month, which seems manageable. Refer to above for the purpose of this blog.

3. Learning photoshop! If you’ve ever opened photoshop, you’ll have about couple hundred options to edit a picture. Mastering Photoshop seems a bit ambitious this year, so learning the basics and mastering it for next year.

4. This is more of a personal goal and not related to photography, but traveling more! I’ve been inspired by so many photographes and their images from traveling and would love to capture the environment people live in and their cultures. So with that said, I’ve booked a trip to Japan for mid June. A little spontaneous, but looking forward to it. Sorry, I lied. I said this goal wasn’t photography related, but I guess it sort of is.

Burdock and Co– Went for brunch and highly recommended! 5/5

Maenam: Went to dine out here for dinner. Food was decent but I feel like you can find better Thai places in Vancouver. Nothing special and service was lacking. 3/5
